What is this?

TradFi Lunch tracks the percentage of real-world trading volume for traditional assets — stocks like AAPL and TSLA, commodities like gold and oil, and indices like the S&P 500 — that is happening on-chain through Hyperliquid.

The name says it all: DeFi is eating TradFi's lunch. This dashboard measures how much of the plate has been cleared so far.

How it works

The dashboard pulls live volume data from Hyperliquid's public API across all TradFi-listed assets. It compares this against traditional exchange volumes from sources like Polygon.io and Nasdaq Data Link to calculate a real-time market share percentage.

History is tracked daily and stored locally. The trend charts show only completed 24-hour periods to avoid misleading partial-day data.

Hey! I'm Space, I've made this site (well, me and Claude) as one of the key metrics I wanted to track was how Hyperliquid is eating into TradFi's market share. I couldn't find anything showing this so decided to make it myself.
